Touchpad Synthesizer

Kaossilator Touchpad Synthesizer

The moment we ran our fingers over the touchpad of the Kaossilator and heard the otherworldly sounds of the future we were hooked. This pocket sized music synthesizer is like nothing we've seen before. Rather than using keys or buttons to play musical notes, the Kaossilator features a revolutionary touchpad design. Move your finger from left to right to change the pitch of the note, and up and down to change the sound. But musical sounds are only the beginning, the Kaossilator can also be used like a drum kit with dozens of built in beats and drum sounds. Plus you get some amazing sound effects from laser blasts to Pac Man. You can put everything to good use with the built-in loop recording feature which lets you layer virtually unlimited tracks to create complex songs combining lead instruments, drum beats and sound effects together.

Touchpad Synthesizer

You would think that all this power at your fingertips might be difficult to wield... but actually we were pretty amazed at how easy it is to make some great sounding music. You'll almost feel guilty belting out some danceable beats with virtually no effort. The Kasossilator is also a great tool for DJs and allows you to tap your finger to the beat of any existing music, this sets the beats per minute and then you can play along with all your beat loops in sync. You can change the key you play in, or choose from different scales... and you get tons of different arpeggiator patterns. But we digress... watch the video and all will be revealed young grasshopper.

Laser Cut Watch

Laser Cut Opening Watch

When we hear the phrase "laser cut" we just can't help but think of a sci-fi laser blaster melting an opening through the hull of a spaceship - or something like that. We suppose that "laser cut" should sound like precision, but to us it just sounds like awesome. Perhaps we're odd or maybe it's just our geeky nature. You can be the final judge on that.

Laser Cut Opening Watch

This watch has it's own laser cut opening. The white face of the watch contains a laser cut opening which is equivalent to the hour hand. As it turns, the "hand" reveals a portion of the number marking each hour. The face also has a minute and second hand. The watch band is black leather. It is an interesting display design and it appeals perfectly to our geeky nature.

Hacked Flash Drive

We've got the tiniest flash-drives, and we've got flash-drives that are hardened against attack. Now, we've got flash-drives that look like they’ve been hacked! Imagine yourself, sitting in a coffee-shop. You pull out your venerable laptop, and fire it up. You may not realize it, but there are jealous eyes on your hardware. They see your computer and size you up. Is the computer you carry worth trying to steal? Are you enough of a threat to them? The mental-calculations proceed apace. That is until you reach for your flash drive.

You pull from your bag a seemingly torn and frayed piece of USB cabling. Immediately, your potential miscreant raises an eyebrow. Exactly what does he think he's going to do with that cable? Grinning like a madman, you plug your phantom USB device into your computer, and happily continue on with your work, apparently oblivious to your devices obvious lack of connectivity.

Apple iPod touch 32 GB (2nd Generation)

The iPod touch has always been an amazing iPod. And with its groundbreaking technologies including a Multi-Touch screen, the accelerometer, and 3D graphics--and access to hundreds of games, iPod touch puts an amazing gaming experience in the palm of your hand. It comes in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB models with new volume controls and a built-in speaker. Play hours of music. Create a Genius Playlist of songs that go great together.

Apple iPod touch

The iPod Touch is incredibly small, and Apple is forced to put an incredibly small speaker. The speaker in the iPod Touch sounds worst than the speaker in the iPhone. The iPhone speaker isn't that great to begin with. However, in a quiet room, the speaker is still useful for previewing a song you might want to buy, or for playing games.
